I love affron - the branded saffron extract and have been using it for 2 years now. The calming effects start within one hour of taking the capsules. It's like tuning into a radio station of calmness. I switched to Somnaffron because of the convenience of the sachets. The dosage is in a sealed sachet which can be easily transported in a purse or carry on luggage when travelling. It is much less conspicuous then a capsule bottle. Also, I love the branding. Every time I take the Somnaffron, I smile at the cute, friendly package design.

Since my hernia surgery three weeks ago, I’ve been struggling with sleep, both falling asleep and staying asleep, and I often wake up feeling tired. A friend recommended saffron, so I decided to give it a try as it seemed low risk and worth exploring.
After just one full dose, my experience was very positive:
-Fell asleep quickly
-Slept deeply and didn’t wake up once during the night
-Set my alarm for 4:50 AM to go to the gym and got up right away without hitting snooze. Woke up feeling refreshed and energized
